Tales From The Prison Cell, our film in coproduction with Proton Cinema, by first-time director Ábel Visky has World Premiered at FIPADOCS Biarritz within the International Documentaries Competition. A packed cinema with more than 300 people watched it for the first time and right out of the oven! Next screening in France on Friday 24 Jan, 12:00 at Le Royal 2 cinema. 

Göteborg Film Festival is our next stop, It Tales a Family by Susanne Kovács travels to Norway to have the Swedish Premiere and have three screenings of the film with the attendance of the director and the producer paradormirmejor.org Ulrik Gutkin. A personal and complex family story about guilt, shame and deep pain that leads back to the Nazi concentration camps. With great courage, Kovács follows the emotional trails left by their grandparents’ traumas, that have affected the family for generations.

It World Premiered in DMZDocs and won the Best Korean Film Competition, Shadow Flowers by Seung-Jun Yi had it’s International Premiere at IDFA, selected within the Feature-Length Competition, and now it’s time for Finland and North America! An emotional film on the North Korean Ryun-hee Kim, who unwittingly ended up in South Korea in 2011. Returning to the neighbouring country turns out to be more difficult than expected.

DocPoint Helsinki will screen Shadow Flowers and will have in attendance Mika Mattila Cinematographer of the film.

On February 11th, the director Seung-Jun Yi will be in New York for the North American Premiere at DocFortnight MoMA.

Also in February a long-awaited showing, our multi-awarded title Bruce Lee and The Outlaw arrives in Spain! MiradasDoc in Tenerife will hold the Spanish Premiere on Saturday, February 1st at 17:00 with the director Joost Vandebrug to present the film!

 

Last but not least, two of our films will be screening in Mumbai International Film Festival within January 29 and February 3rd!
