Egil Håskjold Larsen’s latest documentary 69 Minutes of 86 Days attempts to counter the fear, consequent selfishness, and polarising which the overwhelming media images can lead to. Can feelings of helplessness arise when faced with an overexposure of images? ..By focusing on one child, and showing that she is but a regular child, he tries to induce human relations and personal empathy.  - Petra Schlømer thoughtfully reviews the film for the European Documentary Magazine, The ModernTimes.review (read the full review here).

We could not find the better words to describe the exceptional, new title from our catalog, which alerts all of us and shows that refugees should not be observed as a numbers, groups of people but as individuals who are in a great need of human compassion. This unique and ‘a very different type of documentary’, as Petra asserts, will soon have a World Premiere at the CPH: DOX in the frame of the Nordic: Dox Award – the best and brightest in non-fiction filmmaking from the nordic countries!

For the premiere dates & schedule of screenings see the official website of the CPH:DOX.
